Rainbow International has operated from offices in East Tilbury, Essex for 23 years now. From small beginnings great things grow.
When we started our business in 1997 when we converted our back bedroom into an office. At this time almost 100% of our works where linked with carpet cleaning and domestic incidents of water or smoke damage most of which came from our Franchisor. This has changed.
Now 23 years later we regularly undertake large commercial decontaminations and repairs alongside of our domestic operations. The largest commercial works completed in 2019 was to an impressive value of £320,000.00. Hopefully it will not be long before we break that record.
From our offices in East Tilbury we have the ability to restore almost anything you can imagine. We now deal with damage caused by a small cigarette burn on the carpet to seeing daylight though your roof due to a fire or from a dripping tap staining the floor to Major River floods where you have to pressure wash mud off of the bedroom ceilings and much more, no job is to large or too small.
We are grateful that our business has been recognised many, many times over the last 23 years for the excellence of its team and the quality of the service delivered. Twice we have been awarded the franchisee of the year award. Both occasions where very emotional times for our team Linda and myself. Each time the prize was a trip all expenses paid to America. The first was to San Antonio the home of the Alamo and the second time we were awarded the Franchisee of the year we were sent for seven days to Cesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Not many companies are so generous.
Driven by the forward thinker Don Dwyer, the Rainbow International brand in the UK has grown from a small seed sowed in 1985 to the largest restoration company in the UK. Don went on to create several other brands with a vision of multiple businesses all supporting each other and the needs of his neighbours. Rainbow International was his first brand.
Unfortunately my wife and I never had the pleasure of meeting Don as he passed in 1994, however the legacy he left has help us and many thousands of others throughout the world to achieve their dreams.
Don did not only leave a legacy which many have benefited from he also left a family who’s drive was the same as his own.
They have taken the vision of their father Don Dwyer and grown it into a massive all delivering brand. The company now known as Neighborly has 25 home service brands and more than 4000 franchise owners in nine countries. Now that’s success.
A big thank you from Ian, Linda and the whole Clarke family as if it were not for Don and his vision we would not now own multiple companies and properties all of which will support our entire family including that of our Great Grandchild just born. We can all feel safe in the knowledge about our future as a consequence of Dons Vision and us joining the Rainbow Brand back in 1997.
